This kiosk prototype of Madurai Famous Jigarthanda translates brand identity into a bold, vibrant, and instantly recognisable spatial encounter. The design embraces a loud expression of signage and striking visual elements amplifying the brand’s presence within its context.
The curved façade is a translation of the brand character. The prototype also roots itself in tradition with Chettinad wooden pillars, ie, thoon reimagined as a support structure grounding the playful environment in cultural continuity. The colour diversity in Madurai with its various flowers and multicoloured sarees, inspired the colour palette of the brand. Colourful gradation tiles add a layer of playful tactility, creating a dynamic surface. Circular metal plates are used for menu display. The elements form an expressive kiosk that is an immersive brand experience.
