Zaitoon came to Pondicherry with its new spatial language and identity in a narrow site with road access on both sides. The floor plate is maximally utilised in this G+4 structure. The developed brand façade of layered horizontal panels is placed in vertical proportion based on the building massing, with soothing, diffused wall-washer lights tucked in seamlessly along the base, adding a soft glow.
A muted, elegant tone with warm coloured layers meets a material palette of Italian marble, wooden veneers, and textured finishes inside, creating a calm space. The marble inlay reflects a Pondicherry regional influence with a touch of colonial influence in small elements in lampshades. The brand identity is softly integrated in environmental graphics inducing brand recall in users.
